The name Night Walking Kennels evolved about 20 years ago. It was back in my youth when I lived on my grandfather's farm. We where always pretty big in coon hunting. I got my first hound when I was 10 years old, for a birthday present. He was a 3 year old Red Bone with the name of Tennessee Jack. I had won quiet a few competition nite hunts, and several treeing competition's with him. Just about every night I was hunting, or competing in some sort of way. I spent so much or my time hunting, or training the other dog's, and pup's that I aquired, most of my grandfather's friends, and hunting buddies started calling me (The Little Night Walker). So that is when I started the name Night Walking Kennels. In my later Teen Age years I found out that I was more interested in girls, and going out with my friends than I was hunting anymore. I slowly got out of hunting, and sold all of my dog's. Here a couple of months back I got lucky enough to go coon hunting with some friends, and I remembered just how much I really loved, and missed the sport. That one night is all it took for me to get back to my roots. I have a registered Blue Tick That is 6 years old. She is a great dog, that hunts extreamly well, she is not much for showing, but she's got it together when it comes to hunting. I also have a English Red Tick pup on the way, he is out of GRCH Pr' McCoy's Red Screamin Sammie X and NT CH GR CH Pr' Dark Hollow's Briar. Both of wich you can see the Pedigree by simply visiting my friends at ( By Faith Kennels).
I also Have a Treeing Walker that is handeled, and cared for by my son Tyler.
With GOD's help, and lots of faith my Kennels are starting to grow again.
